Hey guys, I'm looking at buying some 2", 2.5", or 3" mortars. I've already done some research and found pyrodirect to be a possible source as I have used them in the past for my dr-11 guns. Aside from them I've only found a few good hits and a lot of bogus ones. Are there any you would recommend that have good mortars for a good deal. Feel free to pm me if its from a non-advertiser. Thanks.

im getting my 3", 4", 5" mortars, they gave a pretty good price for buying all at once. Pyroliffic when you shoot backyard, how much do you shoot as far as how many shells and what size? Just curious....

ive found the larger mortars from pyrodirect tend to be warped, if theyre hdpe. the fiberglass ones dont appear to have that problem.

I don't see fiberglass anywhere on pyrodirect. I guess ill be more clear.....I already see 2" - 3" hdpe mortars on pyrodirect. Are there any other suppliers you would recommend especially for 2" - 3" fiberglass mortars???? Pm me please.

i was at pyrotechnico yesterday and they recommend the fiberglass over the HDPE and thats most of what i saw in the warehouse which was just full of racks. But that also doesnt mean that the HDPE is bad though.

hdpe vs fiberglass - personal preference IMO.
2 years ago - I got an assort ot 3", 4", and 5" hdpe from pyrodirect. They did not appear to be warped to me. Maybe he just a bad batch of pipe in at one time...
There is another outfit that sells that may be somewhat closer to you indiana - i will pm their name - if not driving distance - at least closer for shipping so that shipping should be less.

I do 75' per inch of shell, but if a lot of woods around I go for 100' per inch

I do normally 2.5" and 100 - 200 mainly, sometimes 3 - 4"
