I was looking at some video of these devices commonly used by police. I was wondering are they the same flash powder used in fireworks? Can someone explain exactly how these work.

,
It looks like they are made here in my home state of Pennsylvania I wonder of I can get these with an ATF license. LOL.

I never realized this facility was so closed to me. It would be cool if they would let me do some video on how these are made. As you will see from this news link their industry is not exempt from production accidents.

If I were to buy these, I don't want a quiet pop or a bang. I want a BOOM! (Probably get a bigger version of the re-loadable one so I can have more sound and more flash inside them)

Lol, I like how everyone here wants some of these. You better be careful though! 1.5 seconds is shorter than you think. :eek:

Hi everyone;

Flashbangs are using with special cops, swats and for riot control.
Actually recipe is really easy %40 pure MG (0,60 is the best), %60 pottassium perchlorate, just mixed them well and it's ready.

But I have to warn you, you know MG is really sensitive with water. You have to respect it. Actually I never storage for a long time and I never produce it more than 100 gr. :)
1,5 second delay is the point, actually lots of companies are using time delay fuse (visco fuse) :) it's the easy way for delay. I am using my secret recipe and I am going to share with you. :)
KCIO3 + Sugar + Red Iron Oxide :) that's it, this is the best solution for time delay.

have a nice day.
