Yes, you saw that right! http://en.freakpyromaniacs.com/forum/images/smilies/cool.png You can attend the Crackerjacks Winter Meeting as a guest for only $10! That's 87% off the regular guest fee!

The meeting will be held Saturday, February 8, at the Wilburton Hose Co. Hall in Wilburton, Pa. There will be open shooting from 5:50-9 PM and there will be hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken soup served as a snack throughout the day which is included in the $10 price.

So don't miss out on an afternoon pyro camaraderie. Shake the winter blahs and get a mid-winter pyro fix by contacting a CJ member to sponsor you and then attending this great event! Hopefully you'll like what you see and then decide to join the premier east coast fireworks club- "The Crackerjacks" and then attend all of our great events throughout the year!

Schedule:

Meet & Greet 1:00pm to 3:30pm
Meeting 3:30pm to 4:30pm
Dinner 4:30pm to 5:30pm
Open Shooting 5:50pm to 9:00pm

*Guests MUST have a current Crackerjacks member in attendance at the meeting as your sponsor and cannot purchase any product from vendors or handle any Class B product.

*We are also seeking a group of people who want to put on a donation of a small Class C show 10-15 min. long to kick off our open shooting time.

We'd still like to get a group of guys together who'd like to showcase their pyro talents by putting on a 10-15 min. show to open up the night. I was talking to Joyce and she said that she might be able to help by offering a special discount on product used ONLY for the show as a way of promoting the club and showing her support for the CJ's. Contact Joyce for details.

just a couple updates on this.
Ok – now that the SUPER BOWL and Ground hogs day celebrations are over….
Just to let you all know I am not talented enough to actually perform an opening show. That is why we are asking the talented folks to step out and to DO this with KNEPPY’S LINE OF PRODUCTS. And we are willing to slash our pricing down to “bare bones” for this 10 to 15 min show. Anyone or a group of pyros wants to do this? Please let John C or I know today or tomorrow or this is NOT GOING TO HAPPEN>
Whoever does this – if you need an extra pyro to help set up, one of my employees has volunteered to help out.
Thank you.

I'd like to announce that club member Graylin P. will be lead for this show! As with all CJ displays, this is considered a club activity and all members (and guests for this shoot) are welcome and encouraged to participate in the display. Please give Graylin a hand!

Thanks Graylin, Joyce and everyone who pulled together to make this happen.

The club will not be able to supply any equipment for open shooting this Saturday. If you plan on doing any open shooting please bring what you need to do so safely:

Shoot boxes, plywood and/or cinder blocks
Rocket racks
Gun racks or mortars
Firecracker tree
Torch for lighting
Safety Glasses
Hard hats
Flashlights or headlamp
Large garbage bags or contractor bags to gather up your trash, which can be left near the dumpster.

In addition warm clothing (preferably cotton) as temps will be in the mid to upper 20's.. There are several inches of snow on the field, but nothing that should stop you from shooting especially if you wear work boots or some other appropriate footwear.
