If someone can help me answer this question, I would appreciate it.
I received a question from a pyro enthusiast located in the country of Turkey. He tells me the sale of Potassium Perchlorate is forbidden in his county, I will assume it also includes the chlorate version. He is trying to make green stars and is asking will this formulation work?
Written as received minus his name.
barium carbonate, potassium nitrate Gets the color? turkey because it prohibited the sale of potassium perchlorate.

potassium nitrate 1.2 oz
mg/al 1.2 oz

I think that this mix is not a pretty green here.
But I have a very good formula that might help him?!

Bariumnitrate : 49.5
Magnalium ( 200 mesh ) : 19.8
PVC : 12.38
Sulfur : 9.9
Gum Arabic : 4.95
Red Gum : 3.47

Very deep and bright green :-)
