Welcome! This site is a great place to learn about the pyro hobby. Johnstown is such a beautiful area. My wife is from Altoona and we come back to that area all the time to visit family. If you have any questions, there are alot of knowledgeable people here. Ask away!

We at Kneppy's Fireworks are about 80 to 90 miles North of you. Just pop on 219 to 22 - go to Altoona, then I-99 North - or call me for better directions!

PGI is definitely something you should beg, borrow, or steal [well, beg & borrow anyway] to get to. Much easier than going to South Dakota or Muskrat Hollow for the fun!!! Looking to see everyone there.

Welcome to the forums. I see you are from Johnstown Pennsylvania. The anniversary of the Johnstown flood just passed on May 31. Not that it is a reason to celebrate, but it comes to mind. I believe there is a museum in your town pertaining to this event.

Yes there is. The flood museum is located right in downtown Johnstown. Next to 9-11 I believe its the 2nd biggest man caused disaster in U.S history. Its cheap and a must see if your ever in this area. I now Also know we have two big firework stores close by For anyone interested. Glitter Mountain fireworks By the turnpike in Donegal pa on 40 mins from jtown. And kneppy,s In winburne only a little bit over an hr away. Both have great selection. The museum and the f.w stores are all a must for my area lol
