Students and pyrotechnics tutor Lincoln Parkhouse talk about the exciting Stage Pyrotechnics course at Backstage Academy. After learning about different pyrotechnic devices, their uses and the relevant health and safety, students help set up and produce a pyrotechnics display in the LS-Live studio. The course is approved by The Association of Stage Pyrotechnicians, a UK administered organisation for people working with stage pyrotechnics, which brings together the leading experts in this field to share dialogue on best practice with its members.The equipment and devices used, demonstrated and viewed during the course will include products from Le Maitre, Skyhigh, Theatrical Pyrotechnics, Wells and LunaTech.
