Some one asked me if there is a certain limit they can store of 1.4G fireworks? I wasnt totally sure of the answer, but I believe it is 500lbs. I told him I would ask around.

So, does anyone have the answer to this?

it varies from state to state but you have to realize that the 500lbs is not actual weight its pyro composition weight.

Thats the other question.. Is it by the firework weight or the powder itself. If it is powder itself that would be like a tractor trailer full of 1.4 to get that.

Pyroliffic, I just answered that on the other thread. It is 1000lbs. Thats the limit for transportation. I don't know if it is the same for storage or if there is a limit for storage.

In the state of Pa there is no limit. I have 12 storage 40' trailers up here - NO license/permits needed.
Others states? you would probably have to check with your firemarshalls or AHJ to find out.

The 1001# is for transportation only IF you are in commerce - then need placards, hazmat etc.
I hope that helps out
