I know some people who buy in Germany and it indeed is very cheap over there! Too bad I live so far off the border though... Fortunately I got my own superstore nearby I get discounts at. That's about as good! :D

Nice consumer show!!
A very nice combination indeed.
The Reno remains a nice cake.
I wish that we in the Netherlands ever get these prices.
like you in germany

Thank you! :)

Not all cakes are as good as reno or aligator...
Right now we are getting cakes from jorge or lesli which arent that cheap but look great!
This means quality instead of mass.
Lesli is also going to try to bring us some nice firecrackers which will cost more but are just better than the ones we got right now...

I hope that Lesli will succeed.
Lesli is doing well in NL.
But there are better brands. such as Royal Fireworks! http://www.royalfireworks.nl/consumenten-vuurwerk/
Royal has since last year a German line.
but in germany they also only use black powder in firecrackers?

The crackers keep getting worse over here too... Underpriced pieces of crap.

I have mostly bad experiences with Lesli and you really gotta pay attention and look up what you're buying. Some of their products are great, but a lot are also very, very overpriced.

Have fun with the 500g cakes, Germany! We've had them for a while and we're loving them! :]

hmm i just bought one of the 500g cakes but i didnt like it that much.. maby i just got a bad charge...
well in an other forum there is a member of lesli active and he knows what the "freaks" want so he promised that they will make a premium cracker ;)
you also got cakes with a diameter of 75mm! :D you arent even allowed to dream about something like that in germany :D:D

Umm no we don't. Our maximum calibre is 30mm per tube and 15g of SAS per tube. I think that's comparable with Germany... (?)

The maximum calibre for single shots is 50mm. I don't know about Germany when it comes to single shots though.

And about the 500g cakes: We had overpriced and sucky ones at the start but every year they've been getting better. Since they got deployed in the Dutch market in 2006, there's been a LOAD of progress. More importers are listening to what the pyromaniacs want and are making the designs more compact while keeping the actual effects awesome so the prices get better as well.

So yeah, you might have a funky start, but it will probably get better. Watch out for Lesli though, they tend to stick the 500g label to a cake that isn't even close to having that amount of SAS. For example: they stuck the 500g label to a 25shot cake over here, while that's not even possible with 15 grams per tube (it would be a max of 375 then...).

But yeah, just browse the forums for product experiences. :]

Well i dont know exactly...
the biggest singleshots i know are 55mm...

hmm i had a cake (weco coroner) which had 20 shots and is also 500g cake...(30mm) so in germany it is more than 15g...
