You're not kidding, you guys are very passionate about fireworks! Awesome videos - I enjoyed them all. PS - I would love to be scuba diving / snorkeling off some of your beautiful beaches right about now. Unfortunately, I'm in hazy and humid New York! LOL

Another wonderful video, Laquil! Beautiful patterns & colors in all the shells.
Could you tell us a little about the design of the fireworks made in the factory for the Festival each year?
Is there one person that designs the effects/colors to be used for each year for the shells & then the workers build the shells to those specifications?
Or do the individual shell builders decide what type/color/number of breaks they want to build & then proceed to make the shells for the Festival?
I assume the color formulas for the stars have been perfected over many years of trial and error & are kept a closely guarded secret?
I've seen several video's of the actual shells & the process of building them, but have not found anything that tells about the design before construction.
I'm very glad you are here on the Forum and are able to share your experience & knowledge with us.

Hi PyroJoeNEPA

let me explain a bit how we do the fire works here now what i am going to explain Smilli is going to see while he is going to be here visiting us
although we are a group but every one is individual on his design, most of the color ones in Malta each factory will have two to three persons
which they will be responsible for the whole lot but every one has his own design may be he will have other 3 or 4 persons who will help him
to build up the whole thing, now when it comes to materials there will be a person who is responsible of what type of colors and materials you wish to do he will prepare the mixture for you and the rest it's up to you, so all i all they have there little secret on the designs but as you said there is a lot of trial and error in it to make them perfect you need to practice a lot but any how i will tell smilli to prepare a footage for you
while he is around in Malta .
