Hello everyone, I would like to ask a question about the registration and posting process on pyrotalk.com discussion.
Has anyone experienced a problem where you registered for the discussion forums and then were unable to post comments? But you resolved the problem and then did post comments? I have received complaints that some people are registered but can not post comments.

No problem here? The question is, why does it say you're a "Junior Member" like me, when you're suppose to be an Administrator? :)

Because this is not my administrative mode.

Guess I will check to see if I can post yet. First post so we will see.

If you register you can log in with your username, but you are not allowed to post if you don't follow the email link that you get. I believe that is what I read when I signed up.

It looks like your first post worked. How long after you registered did it take for you to get your confirmation email? Also how many hours or minutes ago did you complete all steps of the registration? Some people are experiencing posting problems and I do not know why

That may be exactly what they are experiencing. They need to complete the final step of the registration process.

I didn't get the registration e-mail until a full day later.

I got the registration e-mail within minutes, clicked the link it said to. Just did my first post and everything worked great.

Thank you all for your feedback and comments on the registration process. To anyone reading this and having trouble posting comments, please remember you must respond to the email the discussion forum software sends you to be able to post. It might be a good idea to check your spam folder just in case the email gets sent there.

I was one of the other ones that couldn't post. Looks like I'm up and running now. Thanks Dave.
